His extensive commercial construction experience was evident especially when he calmly overcame what I thought were huge obstacles being water pipes, sewer pipes then bedrock, all of which he took in his stride and navigated around (or through in case of the bedrock). Prior to that, during any heavy rain, water regularly seeped through the hill above us into a store room and void on the lower level of our home. The Hygro Seepage system with three pumps across the front of our property has brought us peace of mind. During a cyclone when we lost power, we just plugged the pumps into a generator and the building stayed dry during tumultuous rain. No rainwater has entered since installation. A highly recommended (and hugely expensive) company we consulted previously had failed to resolve the problem. Internally, they replaced an entire mouldy bedroom plasterboard wall, and externally they excavated a meagre 100cm of earth across the front of the house, installed some agi drain piping and poured a new concrete path. During subsequent rain, water continued to pour beneath their inadequate 'bandaid' solution, recreating the initial problem. Thank you Dennis for your most ingeniously designed simple solution for every home with a water entry problem. Anyone is welcome to visit and see a demonstration of our system. Its lowest level is constructed by excavating the side of a hill so that there are some internal walls approximately 2 metres underground. Previous owners have battled with external membranes on the underground walls with limited success. These eventually break down resulting in seepage and internal dampness during wet weather with continual damage to the plaster walls. Dennis offered a solution that controlled the source of the water rather than trying to waterproof the house with membranes. Since installation almost two years ago there has been no internal seepage. The internal walls have been re-plastered and there is no water damage even during the wettest weather. This has been a great outcome. No more wet walls! I couldn't be happier.”
